DeakinPrime and WorkSafe will celebrate a 10-year partnership next year after another three-year extension to the existing partnership was signed last week.
The partnership began in 2006 with DeakinPrime providing WorkSafe Agent employees with nationally recognised vocational education training (VET) qualifications.
On hand to jointly sign certificates recognising the extension of the partnership were WorkSafe Chief Executive Clare Amies and DeakinPrime Chief Executive Officer Simon Hann.
‘DeakinPrime takes pride celebrating success through our much-valued partnership with WorkSafe Victoria and their agents, as we all strive to continue to professionalise the workforce in the personal injury sector in Victoria. This partnership reaches 10 years next year and we have trained over 2600 people,’ said Mr Hann.
‘Through these programs and strategies, WorkSafe continues to display the qualities of a best practice organisation, and is an exemplar to workers compensation authorities across Australia, investing in the development of their own employees and the employees of their authorised agents.’
