Simon Hann comes to DeakinPrime with a very successful track record in commercialisation, general management, innovation and business development in corporate learning and development. Simon commenced his professional career in commercial law, working in areas of business sale and acquisition, intellectual property licensing and commercial transactions.
From there, he raised seed capital to establish Aframe (an eLearning business), and built the organisation over a seven year period before selling it in 2007 to Salmat, an ASX listed company. He was subsequently appointed Chief Executive Officer of Salmat eLearning.
Simon holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment (Securities Institute of Australia), Bachelor of Laws (University of Melbourne) and a Bachelor of Commerce (University of Melbourne) and is currently President of the eLearning Association of Victoria.
DeakinPrime and Deakin University also wish to acknowledge the significant contribution that Jules Cauberg has made to building the business from the time he joined in 1997 and especially more recently during his tenure as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer. Jules has modelled excellence in client relationship building particularly with longstanding clients in the finance sector and strongly encouraged a culture of superior performance.
