Expectations and requirements for ongoing professional development are evolving in the Financial Services sector. In response to this, DeakinPrime has developed an engaging, flexible and multi-dimensional digital CPD offering that aims to assist advisers to grow their skills, knowledge and professional capabilities.
DeakinPrime’s Financial Services CPD program, PROPEL has been created around four key points of difference – expertise, content, learner centric and platform. Let’s take a closer look at each of these points.
DeakinPrime’s expertise in financial services education stretches back over 25 years. Through that time, we’ve developed learning programs for large and medium institutions, as well as professional associations such as the FPA, CPA and SAA. As an organisation, DeakinPrime specialises in providing learning and development solutions that tangibly enhance vocational ability and performance. We’ve leveraged this extensive expertise to develop our Financial Services CPD offering, collaborating with our broad network of subject matter experts, leading academics from Deakin University, and strong industry links.
The result of this collaboration is a program made up of content that is relevant and readily applicable to the daily work lives of financial advisors. As well as providing learning content on key topics such as financial planning, insurance and superannuation, we’ve expanded the scope of the program into areas such as practice and business management, soft skills and ethics. The program also offers three levels of content – core, advanced and challenging – to cater to the varying needs and interests of learners.
DeakinPrime’s CPD program offers a premium learner experience, providing learners with the choice of accessing content through interactive and engaging eLearning modules, or PDFs. Our eLearning has been designed in a responsive, HTML5 framework which can be viewed via multiple web browsers on computer, tablet, or mobile devices.
The program is hosted on a cloud-based platform, which means it can be accessed wherever there’s an internet connection. Through this platform, learners can also view visual dashboards that provide details on their progress. Managers are also able to easily set-up role-based and individual learner training plans, access flexible reporting options at both individual and group levels, and bulk upload external CPD training.
These four key points of difference ensure that DeakinPrime’s Financial Services CPD program offers flexible, engaging, and relevant learning which meets the professional development needs of advisers, and rises to the challenges of a changing educational landscape.
