Gamification, or the use of game mechanics and game-thinking in non-game situations, is proving to have a positive impact on learners especially in the area of content engagement.
Although the notion of gamification has been bandied about, there are still a number of myths and misconceptions circulating.
In this session, Dr Melissa Bordogna dispels the myths that gamification only means creating whiz-bang, online games and that it is overly expensive for the average organisation. She will explain how you can begin re-designing your training programs in an affordable fashion.
Melissa is the Director of Global Educational Network Technologies and founder of The Savvy Academic a brand focused on championing innovative 21st century, teaching and learning approaches.
