As the Client Business Manager, Prasan is responsible for providing high-level operational and strategic leadership in maintaining and developing DeakinPrime’s client relationships. This is done through the provision of senior client relationship management, best practice and strategic recommendations for client learning and development needs.
Prasan offers a depth of knowledge and more than 15 years’ experience in helping organisations align their strategic objectives. He has achieved this through a range of initiatives, such as superior learning solutions, award-winning pathway programs, industry-engaged learning, study progression through cost-effective transnational education models, elearning and performance support solutions.
Prior to joining DeakinPrime, Prasan spearheaded an array of learning and development projects for the Victorian Government under the eServices Panel and for many private sector organisations. He has led large enterprise learning projects for a range of industries, including health, telecommunications, insurance, manufacturing, mining, hospitality and many others.
His other senior management roles include leading the South‑East Asian operations for Edexcel UK (formally known as University of London Examinations and Assessment Council) as a country manager, managing a large portfolio of vocational qualifications and pathway programs leading to university degree programs. Prasan was also a key member of the senior management team of the University of Colombo and a consultant for the United Nations, providing expert advice on UN-funded learning solutions and education models for Uganda, Mozambique and China. Prasan holds a Master of Business Administration (RMIT) and a degree in Information Technology (Honours).
